Feral Ohms
Feral Ohms
Feral Ohms are a power trio from Oakland, California led by Comets On Fire/Howlin Rain/ Heron Oblivion guitar & voice fireball Ethan Miller along with animal drummer Chris Johnson (Drunk Horse/Andy Human) and the loudest bassist in fifteen counties Josh Haynes (Nudity.)
Feral Ohms takes the spatial pyrotechnics and expansive spirit of classic psychedelia and turns it inside out, dragging it through the punk rock era kicking and screaming into a boiled down, non-stop series of explosions that start at needle drop and end when the record does.
Mile high fuzz guitars, maniacal drumming, biker-rock bass riffs, huge amps melting down galore! There is no resonant reflection or contemplation on this album. Feral Ohms blast pure action and outlaw rock and roll joy through relentless, violent musical force, blowing the doors off psychedelic rock and letting loose the raw, wild, high speed feedback wail of something massive careening off the rails and into your ears. Hang on to your eyeballs scuzz heads!!!

Feral Ohms have previously released three limited edition 7" singles on Valley King, Agitated, and Alternative Tentacles. Late 2016 saw the release of the critically acclaimed "Live in San Francisco" LP for John Dwyer’s great Castle Face Records. "Self-Titled" is FO’s debut studio album. Recorded by Eric “King Riff” Bauer (Ty Segall, White Fence, Heron Oblivion), Phil Manley (Earthless, Wooden Shjips) and mixed with scorched Earth policy by Chris Woodhouse (Thee Oh Sees, Fuzz.)

Fans of The Pink Fairies, Spirit, ‘80s and ‘90s Nanjo led PSF records, Motorhead, Void, ‘70s & ‘80s Australian punk, Mountain, ‘Flag, Randy Holden, Comets On Fire & ‘red album’ Grand Funk will surely LOVE Feral Ohms’ studio debut.

In the year 2014 in the ruins of the city once known as Los Angeles, three underworld dwellers with one job, one hot tub and one unkillable riff between them knew they had to make a ripping record—or die trying.

Pins of Light
Pins of Light new full length LP “Home”, on Sound and Pressure Records, will be available Jan. 22nd worldwide.

Woven into the San Francisco Bay Area music scene for many years, Pins’ members Shane Baker, Jake Palladino, Ravi Durbeej, and Phil Becker have been, and still remain members of Alaric, Tricplops!, Dead and Gone, and Hightow-
er. Their sophomore effort, recorded right here in San Francisco at El Studio by Donny Newenhouse with additional tracking and mixing done by drummer Becker, showcases the bands unique style and cohesion. Their music can be described as a freight train on a starry midnight voyage; and their diverse influences can be heard on all eight tracks.

Ranging from blistering old-fashioned punk rock, psychedelic acid rock, to straight ahead hard rock - all reinforced with pummeling drums and heavy guitars, this quartet refuses to be pinned down. They’ve shared the stage with acts as diverse as High on Fire to The Sonics along with The Melvins, Unsane, Jello Biafra, Weed Eater, Toys That Kill, Big Business, Obits, and Black Cobra to name a few. Home is the band’s follow up LP to 2012’s II, which was released on Alternative Tentacles Records. They have also released singles on Scion Records and Valley King Records, with an upcoming Valley King split single with Big Business to be released Summer 2016.
