F.K.A Dharma, the trio formed back in 2012 in La Puente, CA. With active motivation to push musical boundaries, members John Montoya, William Buege, and Dave Cayetano had released two EPs under the moniker Dharma. Combining post-punk with experimental indie to create a foundation to what will then become Machinekit, the band took influences from all genres. After touring extensively, the band decided to hibernate and write their first full-length. It took two years of writing and delegating to resurface into the public sphere. The album entitled "DYSAPPEARENCER" would become the first album under their new name - Machinekit. The evolution of the band proved that indie post-punk was not enough and there was a sonic curiosity under the surface. Since then, Machinekit has released a couple of singles and an EP entitled "Never Gonna Happen." Now morphing synthesis and drum machines to a full instrumental ensemble, the three piece has moved to LA to further explore their possibilities.
