Jessica Gerhardt

Jessica Gerhardt is a singer-songwriter and ukuleleist from Santa Monica who first began writing songs at the age of 8. After receiving a ukulele as a birthday gift, she began teaching herself to play when she was 14 and it became her primary songwriting tool. In 2016 she recorded a cover of Emmylou Harris's "Little Bird" under the name Feronia which was highly acclaimed and featured on the "To Emmylou" tribute album with a number of prolific LA artists including Phoebe Bridgers. Gerhardt also contributed auxiliary vocals in LA band Hotel For Strangers until late 2016. Taking a break for a few years from actively performing, Gerhardt returned under her own name creating powerful music that explores depth, vulnerability, and intentionality in relationships with the release of her single "Be My Hands", the title track off of her 5-song EP, produced by Patrick Doyle. The music video for the title track was premiered in Earmilk in January 2019, followed by the release of the single "Aquarius" in February 2019, and a cover of Joan Armatrading's "The Weakness In Me" in April 2019. The Be My Hands EP 5-song EP was released June 28, 2019 followed by a West Coast and East Coast tour in July. Her latest release was a single entitled "Morning Moon", in November 2019. Jessica also curates events locally for singer-songwriters at venues around town, and a monthly house show series known as Friday at The Fox Den.

Brianna Ibarra

Brianna Ibarra is a singer-songwriter, vocalist, composer and educator born and raised in Los Angeles. Her music, with its jazz-pop styling, is centered in collaboration and conveying true emotion. Brianna began creating music on the piano at the age of six, and spent her formative years singing Motown hits and Beatles tunes at her grandparents’ house in East LA. She’s been performing in LA since she was 15, when she'd try to get into clubs to showcase her dark lyrics over uplifting jazz chords and her witty musical lines over somber piano tones, armed with self-produced bedroom demos. Fast forward to her receipt of a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Music with emphasis in Composing and Arranging from Azusa Pacific University, where she exercised a deep love for the process of producing records and collaborating. 2019 was a full year for Brianna. Just after releasing her EP, “Red Skies” in late 2018, she hit the road on a summer west coast tour supporting Jessica Gerhardt as both a supporting act and multi-instrumentalist in Jessica’s band. She is also a passionate music educator, specializing in pop, jazz, and musical theater voice and in helping students have a foundation of good vocal practices while helping them find their unique creative voice. 2020 brings new self-released music and LA shows, so stay tuned!
