Bardo Stars

Bardo Stars is the brainchild of the Los Angeles-based French composer and songwriter Nico Schwalbe. Bardo Stars' expansive and multi-lingual sonic universe encompasses a wide range of styles and genres ranging from psychedelic garage rock, to disco, funk, and French pop. Bardo Stars’ music blends eccentricity, passion, and a meditative trancethat stimulates both the body with its propulsive rhythms and the imagination with its evocative atmosphere. After releasing their debut LP independently at the end of the summer of 2019, Bardo Stars will be celebrating the release of their latest EP "French Touch Theory" at the Hi Hat in Highland Park on June 7th. The EP will feature 6 new tracks steeped in groovy insanity and will be performed by a 5 piece band.

Sandy Gray

Sandy Gray emerged from a freaky scene of lo-fi kaleidoscopic folk back in Cambridge, MA circa 2011. On its first full-length release, Blunderland, the sound vacillated between a sundry of psychedelic anti-folk ballads and shoegazing drones. Since moving out West, the project has developed into a lo-fi pop driven frenzy of home recordings following the likes of R. Stevie Moore, GBV, Brian Wilson, Billy Childish, White Fence, and the Elephant Six Collective. A glittery spree of glam-rock inspired oddities marks the resurgence of a ghostly recluse.

Prince Puja

Prince Puja is an LA-based artist and Yoga teacher. They make both pop and kirtan (Indian devotional music) and have been singing and playing the piano since they were a kid. Performing has always been a passion of theirs and their performances range range from acoustic sets (often just vocals and harmonium) to performance art including choreography and visuals to playing with their band, the Light ( a varying group of musicians including but not limited to drums, guitar, bass, clarinet, kartals, and tambourine)
