Michelle Young and The Collection: Los Angeles-based band that was formed in October 2017. The group is led by lead singer and poet Michelle Young (founder of The Box Presents and ROVE) with Tony Schmitz on keys and a collection of friends on other instruments. The soulful alt-rock band draws inspiration from a number of genres including soul, Americana, blues, jazz, rock, neo-soul, and funk music. The band uses both traditional songs and spoken word pieces set to music throughout their live sets. The band's live shows are more of an experience than a typical show--of the shows, Michelle says, "Our desire is that audiences walk away with the knowledge that they are not alone, and it's okay to be human. We live in a crazy world and we're all trying to work through our humanity. We want to work through it together.”High Voltage Magazine presented Michelle Young and the Collection's Official Debut at The Satellite in April 2018; they opened for buzzy L.A.-based bands The Colour Coast and Night Talks. In April 2018, Michelle also performed as a featured artist at Sessions58 (a weekly music showcase run by Ilana Lorraine and Nate James [MOBO nominee]) at Looking Glass Cocktail Club in London, England. In July 2018, the band played the Moroccan Lounge as a charity show for The Trevor Project alongside Wolf Bay, Emma Cole, VAVÁ and Georgi Kay. In August 2018, the band played their first festival: Echo Park Rising. In Fall 2018, they played 7 secret shows with Sofar Sounds: Los Angeles, including a special show at The GRAMMY Museum. They rounded 2018 out with a holiday show at The Hotel Cafe for ROVE and Baltisoul Magazine, sharing the stage with LA favorites: MAWD, New Dialogue, Velvet Starlings, Mads Paige and GMNII. In 2019, the band is continuing to play shows (so far, they’ve played El Cid for Wild Riot, JuiceBot’s Launch Party and a stripped down set at Hotel Cafe Second Stage) while also writing and recording their first EP.

James Byous: LA-based singer-songwriter, professional hitchhiker, and classic troubadour. He was featured in 2018's Netflix Original Series, "Westside." He's been described as "the next Bruce Springsteen" by some people that you'd be surprised to hear that from. All that aside, James has worked hard to hone his ability to draw in an audience with honest storytelling, raw musical talent, and subtle strangeness.

Bianca Gisselle: A singer/songwriter, who most recently had cuts on Gin Wigmore’s Ivory album and Zoe Nash’s debut single Rather Die, she also had placements in the Scarlett Johansson movie Rough Night, TNT’s Claws, Apple commercials and many more. She has been hard at work carving out a name for herself with new music. Follow @biancagisselle for all the updates.

Dave Yaden: A piano virtuoso and Grammy award winning songwriter. He has a Tuesday night residency at Black Rabbit Rose.

EasyFriend: In September 2013, EasyFriend frontman Eric Brown turned in his drudging day job for a 100 sqft Lazy Daze RV, shifting his complete focus to creating and sharing his art. Over the next two years, Brown blazed trails from coast to coast, playing hundreds of shows and surviving financially through daily street performing. In January of 2016, Brown wrapped up his 2 year adventure with a series of shows in Los Angeles.Shortly after an unexpected burst of creativity, Eric was introduced to engineer/producer Matthew Faulkner. There could not have been a better match, as the two finished the entire debut EasyFriend album in just 2 weeks. EasyFriend has since played sold out shows at all major East Los Angeles venues including, The Satellite, The Echo, The Hi Hat and Resident. 2019 is set to be a promising year for the group, with monthly single releases, coast to coast tours and a flood of high quality video content.

Heather Cole: Heather Cole is an LA based pop artist and songwriter. Her single “Good At Friends” was recently featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday & New Pop Revolution playlists. Cole also just released a new single and video “Good On You.”

KidEyes: Indie rock duo, made up of Greg Cahn and Ben Epand have been releasing music over the past few months and made statements in the LA live scene with wild headline shows at It’s A School Night and the Moroccan Lounge. “The duo hits all the right notes, vulnerably conveying imperfection in all degrees of frustration, though they remain humble, saying, “There is nothing perfect about any of this.”” (Buzzbands LA)

L:EE (EE Beyond + Luke Strand’s new project preview): A new project by Los Angeles based artists Luke Strande and EE Beyond. In combining elements of Neo Soul, R&B, Motown and a range of cascading harmonies, they serenade their listeners with groovy vibes leaving them lost in all the feels.

VAVÁ: VAVÁ’s guitar-driven, experimental pop has been called “genre-smashing” and “jaw dropping” (Buzzbands LA), and “the offspring of musical genes taken from Sia, Florence, [and] St. Vincent” (Blurred Culture). VAVÁ’s debut EP “The Other Side” is available now; a full length album is due out in 2019.Velvet Starlings: Young indie Rock n Roll band with a sound & style centered around the their love of Sixties era. They have received airplay (KROQ, Sirius xm, 91x) and press locally and abroad; and recently opened for Barns Courtney.

DJ Hot Leather Disco: Christopher Vick is the guitarist and co-producer for Draemings & Black Flamingo and goes by the DJ name Hot Leather Disco.
