Evolfo
Evolfo
Evolfo is the sound that breaks through the fuzz on the low end of your radio dial and echoes out the back door of a pink neon lit bar. Mainstays of New York City’s clubs and DIY spaces, as well as the finest basement venues coast to coast, Evolfo has cut adventurous tracks through the U.S., gaining initiates and devotees every time they cram onto a stage and deliver their raucous live show. Last of the Acid Cowboys, the band’s debut LP, melts down decades worth of eclectic and bizarro records and puts on wax a house shaking mix of garage rock, psych soul, spiritual funk and ecstatic freakout. Like the faithful crate-diggers who have come before them, Evolfo mined the past for sounds and grooves that history left on the shelf. When they breathe their smoke into these forms, it produces something new.
Clean Spill
Mainman
Mainman
Dwelling somewhere between the grandiose rock of Pink Floyd, the experimental staccato of Built To Spill and the shuffling funk of Earth, Wind & Fire lies MainMan, a Southern California quartet born from frustrated prior incarnations and longtime friendship. Their debut EP “Mistaker” released Mar. 3 2017 features the first single “W.W.H.” is a “...true departure from the ordinary.” (President of Showbiz). Singer Morgan Demeter’s plaintive and urgent vocals alternately soothe and jar as he wrestles with themes ranging from understanding the human experience to examining the relationships that both comfort and torture us. Backed by former Bear On Fire members Chris Mintz-Plasse and Nick Chamian, and The Hammerhead's Ryan Dean, Demeter’s melodies float among ethereal yet strangely familiar tones. Indeed what truly draws you into MainMan’s songs is their musicality; originality and knack for making the unpredictable seem effortless.
Balto
"Balto sound like the kind of band you’d want playing in the background as you cruise down the highway with a road soda clutched in your hand." - What Youth

Balto plays unbridled American Rock and Roll - steeped in both the mythology of the great folk storytellers and the legendary Motown groovers. Biting cynicism, instant classics, rip-your-heart-out live energy, a willingness to swagger, shred hard, and live behind the beat. Seattle-based curators Artist Home describe last year’s LP Strangers as “a tangle of beautiful, messy emotions, wrapped up in a sound that’s warmly familiar yet brimming with soul and tiny details that are touched by magic.” Now living in Los Angeles, the band has begun releasing a series of singles off of 2019's forthcoming record and are playing regional dates all over California.
