Royaljag
Royaljag
Royaljag, the Architects of Chameleon Pop; a self generated genre, with a sole purpose of creating songs any listener can digest. The trio consists of twins, J. and Roland Garcia, and longtime best friend, David Ajoku. They grew up together in San Bernardino, sharing influences from music their parents always put on. To name a few, Stevie Wonder, Supertramp, Prince, ABBA, and of course the one and only, Michael Jackson. Devotedly praising these greats, the three write music out of complete collaboration, helping them produce synthesized hooks, infectious melodies, and unified harmony.
Dr. Doctor
Dr. Doctor has been years in the making for LA based songwriter Ralph Torrefranca. Originally born from heartache, Dr. Doctor has evolved into a solo project that draws chorus-laden and lush guitar melodies and blends this with Torrefranca’s poetic style of storytelling to create sounds unique to the indie & pop genres. “Turbulence” marks the first full fledged release from Dr. Doctor, also joined in the studio and in the live setting by Zack Greenwald, Drew Bruchs, Adam Newmark and Joe Liptock. Torrefranca’s approach to producing was simple: embrace the live sound. This was done beautifully with co-producers Chris Lynch and Adam Rasmussen from the band Gardens & Villa, embracing techniques that not only shines a light on Torrefranca’s chorus-heavy guitars but also embraces the talented rhythm section of Liptock and Bruchs. Rounded out by the mixing of engineer Mike Post, “Turbulence” embraces modern pop songwriting with an almost DIY spirit.
Sleeplust
Sleeplust is the brain child of twin brothers Michael and Joseph Pepe, vocalist Amber Ruthe, and drummer Sarah Luffred after a chance encounter on Craigslist. Moody electronics, spacious guitars, bombastic drums and a steady rhythm all make up the ground work of the band. Since releasing their music they've had features in Billboard Magazine and Huffington Post along with TV placements on channels such as MTV, VH1, and E, along with an accumulation of over a million plays of their last two EPs on digital platforms. It's honest music that they hope will find a way into your heart.
