HOTT MT
HOTT MT
International sensation HOTT MT (Hour Of The Time Majesty Twelve), is an experimental post-pop collective based in Los Angeles, CA. HOTT MT is the result of an ongoing curiosity project between Queen Ashi Dala and Spooky Tavi, which expanded to include multi-instrumentalist Bahd Bad in December of 2011, and guitarist Guitty Dryver and drummer Chairman Towel in early 2012. Thoughts and anxieties about myth, experience, conspiracy theories, and Thailand fuel the groups explorations.

HOTT MT made headlines in 2012 when they drove from LA to Oklahoma City to pay homage to Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips. The trip resulted in a collaboration between Coyne and HOTT MT on the song "Never Hate Again", and the song "2012" featuring Ke$ha and Biz Markie. "Never Hate Again" was released by Origami Vinyl in August 2012 with an accompanying video also featuring Coyne. "2012" was released as the lead track on the Flaming Lips collaboration album Heady Fwendz.

HOTT MT's debut LP "I Made This" was released in May, and they recently completed work w/ The Flaming Lips on a Stone Roses cover album (release TBD). Live highlights include shows supporting Bat For Lashes, Wavves, Frightened Rabbit, Ra Ra Riot, Django Django, Robert DeLong, Hands, and The Flaming Lips, including their Guinness World Record setting event.
Goon
Goon
Goon is the project of LA-based musician and visual artist Kenny Becker. With a medical condition that periodically deadens his sense of smell and hearing, Becker began writing songs as a means of making the most of his life when those symptoms were absent. The results—a murky blend of smoldering guitars, melodic hooks, and batter-ram rhythms—are the musical translations of a mind that’s routinely betrayed by its own body, one that glistens with the oily sheen of suppression.
Draag
Draag
Draag started in the fall of 2013 as the solo recording project of Adrian Acosta (guitar, programs, vocals) who would go on to recruit the rest of the band mid-way through the process of recording their first LP. With Jessica Huang (guitar, keys, samples and vocals), Adrian De La Cruz (guitar), Nick Kelly (bass) and Ernie Estrada (drums), the band doesn't play by genre conventions. But, are very shy and accepting that life is often disappointing. In April of 2014, Draag released their debut album. The album was positively received by many blogs, with much anticipation to see the band live. On July 24th 2014, Draag played their very first show at the very intimate LOT 1 Cafe in Echo Park, to a capacity crowd with very little promotion. The show was later described by Buzzbands LA writer Kevin Bronson as "A blissfully ear bleeding experience".
Alyeska
Alyeska, formed by song writer and guitarist Alaska Reid who moved from a small town in Montana. Alyeska is a three piece band. Alaska met drummer Ben Spear, and began to further form a dynamic sound that was still heavy but that left room for Alaska. Just this year the band recorded three songs with producer John Agnello whose credits include Dinosaur Jr, Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth and Phosphorescent-- all artists that inspire the band. The band frequently plays around Los Angeles/the West Coast as well as going back to Montana and the Mountain West to tour bars in a minivan.
Wolf Woodcock
Wolf Woodcock
Wolf Woodcock is a Los Angeles based musician and composer. Performing in many bands all over the LA scene, he has also been carefully crafting and releasing solo songs since he was sixteen. It wasn’t until October 2016 that he put together a band to start playing these songs, their first official show at the Hi Hat that same month. He is joined by Nate Carter on drums, Cesar Hernandez on bass, and Isaac Plummer on keys. They released their debut single as a band on March 10th, 2017 through Chain Letter Collective.
