Bones Muhroni
Bones Muhroni
Bones Muhroni is a band fronted by John Crew Rienstra AKA Crew Muhroni. The band started as a folk duo in 2010 with Muhroni and Christopher "Bones" Jones, playing pubs in Northern Colorado. After 2 years as a folk rock trio, and now with the addition of Ryan Wykert on Drums, the band decided to relocate to Los Angeles in 2012. The line up of Bones grew as well as the sound throughout their 3 years in LA; adding members, Samuel Gabbard on Bass, Taylor Plenn on Sax, Jon Niemann on Keys, Frankie Palmer on Pedal Steel Guitar and Guitarist Mac Hill. The band has dabbled in the genres of Soul, Country, Alternative rock, and sometimes the absurd. The band has 3 self-released LPs out available on their bandcamp. In addition to these Crew has self released solo recordings and projects which include 2 hip hop mixtapes as well a short story, called 'I Push." which he plans to make into a full play. Currently most of the band resides in Highland Park, Los Angeles.
Johanna Chase
Johanna Chase
Seattle born, Johanna Chase, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Having toured several times nationally and regionally (Pretty Kind of Off White Tour 2006, TMJ Tour 2008, I Heart People Tour 2011) and releasing and producing five full length albums on her own since 2002, Johanna Chase is a seasoned veteran to the indie and grass roots music scene on the West Coast. Opening for Noah Gundersen, Aaron Sprinkle, Barcelona and David Bazan to name a few, Johanna's earlier folk/rock song writing come from her Northwest roots. Her career beginnings have led her to play in notable venues across the country such as Eddie's Attic (Decatur), The Triple Door (Seattle), Hotel Cafe (Los Angeles), Webster Hall (NYC), MoMo's (Austin), SXSW 2012 and recording her latest studio record "Mr. Jones" with producer Roger Greenawalt (Ben Kweller, Rhett Miller, Nelly McKay, Rufus Wainwright, Afro-Jersey). Johanna Chase is a genre-defying artist, one who can fuse many sounds and adapts her voice and musicianship in the moment to multiple projects. She has collaborated with great artists such as Huit Kilos (Ricardo Lemvo), Joey Ryan (Milk Carton Kids), Robert DeLong (Glassnote Records), and Z the Band (Nas). After turning down help from Madonna in 2003, in an effort to maintain artist control, Johanna has allowed her music to evolve along with her understanding of the music business over time. She has independently funded her 5th studio record "Translator" (2010), The I Heart People Tour (2011), her travels to SXSW (2012) and her 6th studio record "Mr. Jones" (2013) through support of her fans and collaborators through online outlets, such as and as an active member of a Los Angeles based artists community known as the BLVD.

Now living in Los Angeles, California, Johanna will be releasing her new record this spring (2013) and taking it on the road to SXSW and beyond. Sign up for Johanna's mailing list for free downloads and insights on the future of music and collaboration.
Alyeska, formed by song writer and guitarist Alaska Reid who moved from a small town in Montana. Alyeska is a three piece band. Alaska met drummer Ben Spear, and began to further form a dynamic sound that was still heavy but that left room for Alaska. Just this year the band recorded three songs with producer John Agnello whose credits include Dinosaur Jr, Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth and Phosphorescent-- all artists that inspire the band. The band frequently plays around Los Angeles/the West Coast as well as going back to Montana and the Mountain West to tour bars in a minivan.
